The attempted shutdown of the world during the burgeoning hysteria of the Covid era perverted the concept and meaning of the word “science”.
Suddenly, a majority of 7 billion of previously “uneducated” people attained the rank of self-proclaimed researchers in calling for vaccinations and mask wearing in the absence of evidence. Supplemented by the viral nature of social media those afflicted by hysteria resorted to petty name calling and militant digital attacks originating from the CNN and other mainstream media outlets profiting from the shutdown of society. During this tumultuous and shameful era in history, trillions of dollars flowed back and forth between government and research and research and government in prompting the unabashedly cerebrally conditioned factions of Millennials to decree that masks were the latest fashion trend. The rhetoric became so convoluted that the the template for toxic political campaigns born in the 1910’s wanted their shock value slogans custom made for public protests that taunted commonsense back.
While the forgettable and polarizing Dr. Fauci, his medical credentials represented in the loosest of terminology clung to the false pretense of scientific claims, American tax-payers shouldered the financial burden of inconsequently supporting inane research leading to a barrage of public information campaigns aimed stoking fear and eventually leading to civil unrest. At the center of this volatile environment was and is the federally funded National Science Foundation (NSF). The organization under the direction of the Biden Administration was apparently more concerned in experimenting with matters of social justice rather than extrapolating the tangibility of data and empiricism, an obvious detriment to citizens. Recently, Trump’s associates addressed the glaring issue and organized a thorough campaign to cauterize the waste of the government entity pilfering dollars on programs that cater to special interests that are a polar opposite to actual innovation and scientific breakthroughs that pave the way for a successful future of mankind.
According to the Associated Press, the President and colleagues stopped financial payments to a number of politicized researchers within the NSF pawning junk science. The move resulted in lawsuits filed by those identified by the current administration as ineffectual and intellectually dishonest social justice warriors disguised as scientists. The defiant group suing Trump and company that was defunded, for years had unrelentingly pressed for diversity, exclusion, and inclusion (DEI) within the agency instead of emphasizing research and ultimately innovation for the benefit of humanity. In response to the lawsuit, members of the controversial board of directors of the NSF were relieved of their positions.
The NSF complainants attempted to flee to the courts with the dubious lawsuit which opened further wasteful financial channels and the heedless and sordid process which involved legal elements were supported by 16 democratically controlled states. The federal court judge hearing the case swiftly and thoroughly rebuked the lame attempt to hijack an arm of government by academics with an ulterior motive as well as the select roster Liberal states. The ruling that federal funding for incredulous research conducted by extremists can be terminated did not necessarily set a precedence, but established that the Trump regime will not tolerate radicalized ideology directly paired with scientific research.
While the proactive response to rogue researchers allied with a certain cadre of leftist lawmakers is a step in weeding out political dissidents infiltrating government laboratories and data centers corrupting truth for the sake of forwarding an agenda, the nation still faces the challenge of science tainted by activists.
