Florida Carry invites you to join us for an Advocacy Day on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026.
We will be meeting with Senators and House Representatives. Our main focus will be regaining the Constitutional Right of 18,19, and 20-year-old Floridians to purchase firearms.
Our Florida Carry Membership Director, Dennis Fields, will attempt to park at the Kleman Plaza Parking Garage and meet with like-minded attendees at the fountain above the garage (ground level). If, for some reason, the garage is full, we can park in the Calhoun Eastside Garage. Either way… at 8:45 am we will march toward the East Entrance of the Capitol, located between the historic Capitol museum and the new Capitol building, where we will all meet outside at 9:00 am.
There is no pressure to conceal carry. There is no pressure to open carry. There is no pressure to leave firearms at home.
Just be aware that if a relevant firearms-related committee meeting or vote on the floor of the Senate or House occurs while we are there, you will have to remain OUTSIDE those rooms if armed. Lobbies, hallways, and offices are perfectly legal to carry into.
Dennis Fields will provide his phone number as we enter. You can text for our next location if we get separated.
Participation in this event is very important.
The last thing we need is a sea of red-shirt-wearing Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America folks being the only ones our Senators and Representatives hear from that day!
We suggest wearing Blue for 2, (2nd Amendment) to stand apart from them but also unified with each other. Whether it’s a blue T-shirt, polo, dress, or suit, it doesn’t matter. Attendance does! Let them all see US!
Respectfully,
Your Florida Carry Board of Directors
