Within the confines of landmark legislation passed appeasing the anti-gun community and activists on a civic level, the plans for the future of restrictive policy was revealed in San Jose, California of all places as Mayor Matt Mahan spearheaded controversial legislation swarming citizens under a generational tidal wave of procedural limitations.
Dionne Warwick may or not approve of a jaunty ballad and lyrics- something along the likes of “Does gun control know its way out of San Jose?” The question mark at the end of the stanza ammunition sparks confusion among firearms prohibitionists.
Two years ago, Mahan was responsible for a measure egregious to the recognition of the Second Amendment in requiring legal gun owners to purchase “insurance” that would hold law-abiding citizens liable in the aftermath of robberies. The “Gun Harm Reduction Ordinance” took effect in January 2023. Spearheaded by the mayor and a feral collection of lackeys, at least in an ideological sense, the legislation and subsequent mandatory insurance requirements stipulates that gun owners of and victims of property crimes can be criminalized simply for owning a firearms, which calls in the constitutionality of the stifling measure.
Similar nonsensical mandates have been enacted where victims of vehicle robberies are subject to prosecution and incarceration, if their stolen vehicle is involved in an accident or worse.
With the propensity of the San Jose city council to adopt ridiculous city code, the blueprint is set for municipalities to follow the detrimental model of unbridled bureaucracy leading to further congestion within an already overburdened legal system as innocent Americans are criminalized simply for exercising their fundamental rights in the tedious nonsensical environment created by extremists oblivious to the concept of reasonable self-defense. The whole sordid framework of countless time and money spent smells of corruption on the auspices of a Ponzi scheme funding a “cottage” industry of lawyers motivated by exploitation.
Imagine a modern-day America, where the victim of a heinous crime is haphazardly charged and defined as a miscreant according to the diluted and oversights of a legal system dominated by apologist abolitionists in a wry attempt to dictate politics and waywardly engineer society.
The reductionism is obstinate, repugnant, and unsustainable that results in prosecuting law-abiding citizens in the wake of a ceaselessness towards special interests that favors the antithesis to the basic tenets of freedoms and at the apex of a healthy concept for society free will.
Cars don’t kill people. Guns don’t kill people. People with bad intentions kill people as accountability has been banished to a Chinese forced labor camp over the theft of knockoff Gucci sun-glasses and the resounding 20th century glare of a Grace Kelly, warily side-eyeing a society where intelligence falls to an ungracious death after the bungy cord snaps from the fuselage of an F-16 supersonic jet fighter.
San Jose city government does not know the way to itself as the best interests of constituents are marooned on the side of the highway.
