“He argued that citizens’ ability to defend themselves may be compromised as well, pointing to a tweet from Mamdani saying, ‘We need to ban all guns’,” Fox News reported, citing political commentator Dave Rubun warning “his fellow Jewish Americans … that they should flee New York City if Zohran [Kwami] Mamdani becomes the new mayor in November.”
“I mean, regardless of what your feelings are on guns or the difference between, you know, a semi-automatic and a handheld or whatever, ‘ban all guns,’ I mean, no, that’s a constitutionally guaranteed right,” Rubin added. “So he is a radical of radicals.”
It’s clear Rubin not only doesn’t understand guns, he doesn’t understand that all infringements are radical, and Mamdani is doing nothing more than articulating a position founding prohibitionists freely admitted before more sophisticated propagandists for gun bans figured the best way to eat an elephant was a bite at a time.
Of course, the goal has always been to take your guns, “semi-automatic and handheld or whatever.” Follow that link and hear it from the author of the 1968 Gun Control Act, and the head of what would later become the Brady Campaign.
As for Jews feeling like the Democrat Party is abandoning them and fearing “pogroms” from factions like those represented by Mamdani defending “Globalize the intifada,” the late Aaron Zelman, founder of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, would have had little sympathy for “bagel brained Jews… bleating vociferously.” After all, despite the clear historic nexus JPFO has presented documenting the correlation between citizen disarmament and genocide, Jews nationwide voted almost 80% for Kamala Harris, who had made “gun control” a centerpiece of her campaign.
You get what you vote for. Good and hard. And some want it gooder and harder.
Those include the neoMarxist rabbis supporting Mamdani, bringing to mind nothing so much as the Mensheviks of the Russian Revolution, who thought they were on to something until the Bolsheviks started “liquidating” and showed them what real treachery and ruthlessness was all about. It’s hardly out of line to extend the analogy to include “Hitler’s enablers,” so-called “conservative” German Jews who supported the Nazis, and to kapos and camp functionaries.
PolitiFact is tripping all over itself to deny Mamdani is an actual communist, despite his threat about “seizing the means of production” (which one leftist academic dismisses as “lightbearted hyperbole”). And his proposal for city-run supermarkets evokes nothing so much as the memory of Soviet bread lines. What he does own up to is being a “Democrat Socialist,” and that makes fair the rejoinder: What the hell’s the difference?
Al Jazeera tries to explain, but fails by (deliberately?) ignoring what the Democrat Socialists of America, which endorses Mamdani, is hiding. Just as gun prohibitionists fall back on propaganda terms like “commonsense gun safety laws” to mask a violence monopoly goal, focusing on what Mandani hasn’t called for (yet) ignores the words of their “founders.”
Like the Good Book says, “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” They’re all “democratic socialists.” Even the “fascists” they accuse Republicans of being. And to those insisting totalitarian collectivist regimes always result death, deprivation and misery is because “we have’t tried real communism yet,” of course “we” have—it’s just that once in power, those ruling aren’t about to give up running Karl Marx’s “dictatorship of the proletariat.” They know they’re riding the tiger, and what would happen if they loosed their grip.
No doubt they want to mask what they’re about to a new generation of useful idiots, but thanks to the Internet Archive, we can still see lyrics for some of DSA’s movement songs, with inspirational sentiments like:
Are you sleeping,
Are you sleeping,
Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie,
And when the revolution comes,
We’ll kill you all with knives and guns,
Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie
Pay attention to who they mean, just in case you’re not clear on why those behind Mamdani want to ban all guns.
Noting Mamdani is a Ugandan-born (he holds dual citizenships, which makes swearing the required oath the the Constitution an oxymoron in itself) Muslim of Indian descent whose father declares suicide bombers should not be “stigmatized as a mark of barbarim,” another observation becomes obvious: Any “immigration” law or policy that contravenes the Constitutional mandate required in the Preamble “to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” by admitting ayone not committed to founding principles is not just illegitimate, it’s treasonous.
All this makes it more than fair to ask “Who, besides an in-your-face subversive or a useful idiot (plenty of both in NYC), would support this character, especially considering he hasn’t demonstrated the professional capacity to manage a hot dog street vendor cart, let alone “the financial capital of the world. The answer should surprise no one: Powerful “mainstream” Democrats, beginning with the head of the Democrat National Committee claiming a “big tent” excuse.
Follow him up with no shortage of local, state and national Party luminaries including Jerry Nadler (acting the role of Max Naumann?) and Elizabeth Warren. That’s interesting because all support citizen disarmament, which they represent as “commonsense gun safety laws,” and they’re all throwing their weight behind a candidate who has declared “We need to ban all guns.”
We need to ban all guns.

You can’t support him and still credibly maintain that you “believe in the Second Amendment BUT…”
Perhaps that’s why, at this writing, none of the major “gun safety” groups, Not Everytown, Giffords, nor Brady (which hasn’t responded to my challenge), have endorsed Mamdani for mayor—they know if they do their mask will be premanently removed, they won’t be able to take back that they support total citizen disarmament as their end game, and all this blather about “commonsense” is merely a smokescreen to distract the gullible while they’re swindling them out of their rights. (The one exception is David Hogg, but no one ever expected him to have the emotional maturity to play the long game. Just don’t ever let him get away with fraudulently calling for incremental infringements again since this endorsement shows what he ultimately supports.)
Second Amendment defenders aren’t positioned to do anything about it more than pointing out the evil unfolding political absurdity, so let New York City voters have the “Leaders [They] Deserve.” It’s not like newly “independent” incumbent Eric Adams represents anything but a slower road to hell for gun owners, and with “Republicans” like perennial self-promoter and “stricter gun laws” demander Curtis Sliwa, who needs Democrats? Just don’t expect those of us the leftists hate to give a damn when their leaders create and enable conditions and catastrophes that give it them what they’re stupidly asking for.
And don’t let the “gun safety” groups forget the roles they did – and deliberately did not – play, and why.
